The 1st sermon's been added to our wiki!

The most exciting part of the site, in my opinion, is the sermonwiki. (It's also that part that could completely flop, but let's be positive!)

The idea is to experiment with interactive preaching online, by uploading our own 'sermons' and then inviting others to contribute. Readers are invited to comment (perhaps the online version of an "amen" from the congregation?), or to actually edit the sermon and 'preach' with the original poster.

Well, our first sermon has been added. It's an old one that I originally posted in 1999. Significantly, as I began to experiment with interactive preaching, I took this sermon as a basis and developed it with my gracious listeners. However, I've added the original monologue version as I thought it would be interesting to see if others develop it in different direction to the congregation that allowed me to experiment on them nearly a decade ago.

So, pop along to the wiki and let us 'teach and admonish one another with all wisdom' (Col. 3:16)

‘When some one comes to church and hears only one person speaking, and all the listeners are silent...who can or will regard or confess the same to be a spiritual congregation?’ (Ambrosius Spitelmaier, an Anabaptist, under interrogation in 1527.)
